Job Description

As an Operational Buyer, you provide daily purchasing support to the operations and are responsible for driving the operational flow forward. You have your own commercial mandate and are responsible for maintaining the company's purchasing guidelines while proactively contributing to the development of internal working methods and the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Act as the operational contact person for purchasing matters and support daily operations in ongoing purchasing work.
  • Independently manage ongoing purchases up to 250,000 SEK and conduct supplier negotiations to ensure the best commercial terms.
  • Ensure that purchases follow established guidelines and exercise the mandate to reject incompatible purchases when necessary.
  • Monitor order acknowledgments, follow up on delivery precision, and handle complaints, warranty cases, and disputes in collaboration with strategic buyers and category managers.
  • Relieve the project organization by handling simpler project-related purchases and assisting in the implementation of new agreements.
  • Support the review of supplier invoices against contracts/orders and actively contribute to the development and improvement of the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process.
  • Participate in system testing and upgrades of business systems and lead internal training within the purchasing area.

Requirements

We are looking for you who are service-oriented, solution-focused, and confident in making independent decisions within the scope of your mandate. To fit the role, you have:

  • Relevant education in purchasing, logistics, or a similar field, or equivalent practical work experience.
  • Documented experience in operational purchasing work and a good understanding of purchasing processes, P2P flows, and relevant standards in the purchasing field.
  • Experience working in purchasing and business systems.
  • Experience in daily supplier contacts, follow-up, and business negotiations.
  • Very good communication and relationship-building skills, with experience collaborating with many different internal and external stakeholders.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

  • Start date: As soon as possible (by agreement)
  • Scope: 100% (Full-time)
  • Location: Stockholm
